We are in a busy, active, and decisive period this month. The early part of April is all about facing facts, and then we’ll focus on making decisions later in the month. There is a New Moon in Aries on the 10th, encouraging us to be more courageous in our actions. The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse on the 25th will bring to light ways for us to make better use of our resources. • The sun is in Aries as the month starts, and enters Taurus on the 19th. Love your mother! Mercury is still wading through Pisces until she enters fiery Aries on the 13th. Venus is in Aries, but heads home to Taurus on the 15th. Mars is loving being in Aries until the 20th when he enters Taurus. Jupiter is still in Gemini until the end of June. Saturn remains in Scorpio, Uranus in Aries, Neptune in Pisces, and Pluto in Capricorn. • Fun days this month are the 1st, 6th, 7th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, and 26th. Days to stay in bed are the 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 28th.
ARIES (March 21–April 19). Happy Birthday to the Rams, Ewes, and Kids. This is your yearly cycle when you assess last year’s goals and set new ambitions for the coming year. Career issues continue to remain strong as you eliminate existing jobs that no longer fit you. Relationships require more independence and freedom in order for them to last. You are very adventuresome this month with your ruler, Mars (planet of action and reaction), moving through your sign. You may not sleep as well, and you may need more physical outlets this month.
TAURUS (April 20–May 20). As the month begins, you are in more of a rest-and-retreat mode even though you are being pushed to stay on track and get activities completed. This push-pull effect lightens up after mid-month. Your are considering long-term plans and commitments, and you’ll certainly make some this month. Relationships and business partnerships are in a review phase. Get them back on track, or you may be looking elsewhere. Stay focused on your career and long-term security.
GEMINI (May 21–June 21). Now that Jupiter (planet of growth and expansion) has gone direct, you are back to being super-busy. Watch your commitments, or your dance card will be filled before you know it. Groups and professional organizations can be very supportive and helpful to you this month. Your career has been a little bit hazy for the last two months, but you are getting closer to achieving what you want. You will need some R&R later in the month.
CANCER (June 22–July 22). Career and work demands are placing you in a leadership role. Be sure that you are clear about the level of responsibility you accept. This is a good time to start new projects or even look for a new career. You are needing more individuality and freedom in your relationship. Consider new ways of defining your partnerships before you decide to cast them off. Working with social groups becomes more of a focus as the month ends.
LEO (July 23–August 22). Although you’ve been working on getting your life organized for the last couple of months, this month is more about taking a break in the action. This is a good month for classes, travel, or changing up your routines. Your social life can still be very active if you put yourself out there. Toward the end of the month, you are more focused on your career and getting your life more stable and secure. Options for advancement or promotion at work are coming later this month. Make sure you are up for the challenge.
VIRGO (August 23–September 22). You are finally coming out of the mushy energies that have dominated your life for the last two months. You feel much more energized as career energies start to pick up. Things will be super-busy by the time we get to June. This is a good month to confront old financial issues and clear them out. You want to be more open and direct with your partner. This is not the time to pussyfoot around—get down to business. During the latter part of the month you will need a break. Be sure you take it.
LIBRA (September 23–October 23). Relationships are on the agenda for April. If you are in a good relationship, this is a dynamic time of renewal. Take a trip to the lake or to the beach. Light some fireworks! If things are going wonky in your relationship, this is the time when action needs to be taken, or you may be looking elsewhere. Throughout all of this, you are learning how to have a better relationship with yourself. Career is getting busier. June will be bustin’ out all over.
SCORPIO (October 24–November 21). With Saturn in your sign for the next couple of years, this is the time for you to step up into a position of authority. If you are young, you are feeling older. If you are older, you are calculating just how much time you have left, and you don’t want to waste a moment. You have little tolerance and patience for those who can’t walk the talk. This is a time of stepping into the boss’s position or starting your own company. Relationships are on the menu for the last half of the month. You are looking for long-term commitment. If you can’t get it, you may be moving on.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22–December 21). After finally getting out of the mush from the last couple of months, you are once again feeling optimistic and energetic. You are certainly in a playful mood this month. Your social life and relationship options are getting stronger every day. If you are single, this is a good time for you to be out there dating. If you are partnered, this is a great time for both of you to get away from it all. Work calls you back near the end of the month. Have fun until then!
CAPRICORN (December 22–January 19). There is a lot of interest and focus on your home and family this month. This is a great month for entertaining at home, or even having family reunions. Some of you are looking for a new place to live, and others are improving where you are. Make sure that you invest some of your time in social groups or business organizations. It’s a perfect time for you to take some sort of a leadership role. This will really help your career. You will need to get out and play more toward the end of the month.
AQUARIUS (January 20–February 18). This continues to be a time when you remain focused on long-term goals and really enhancing your career. What you say counts this month, and people are listening. You are getting lots of small projects completed this month. By mid-April you’ll be focused on making your home a more comfortable place. You will also feel more sociable and want to change your routines as the month progresses.
PISCES (February 19–March 20). You have been really indecisive and unsure about where you were headed during the last couple of months. You were definitely in a time when you wanted to retreat from the everyday world. Now you are more active and busy dealing with the present. Money and self-worth issues could come up as you interact with others. You are not as patient as usual. By mid-month, you are calmer and feeling back on track. Don’t overload yourself at work—it would be very easy to do that all the way through June.
