Representatives from the board of directors for Kindred Spirits Foundation have announced that the group is currently accepting requests for proposals for its 2013 beneficiaries. Applications are being accepted September 7 through October 19, 2012, from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations wishing to be considered for funding.
“In these times of dwindling funds, it is more important than ever for us to offer these funds to deserving organizations,” said Margaret Thibodeaux, member of the KSF board of directors. “Kindred Spirits Foundation is dedicated to supporting groups that serve women by providing funding to organizations that work to increase health and wellness among underserved women, especially lesbians.”
Organizations selected as 2013 KSF beneficiaries will be announced at the Christmas Cabaret Sing-A-Long event on December 2, benefiting KSF.
