Community: The Montrose Center

On October 24, after 34 years and a long thought-out process, The Montrose Counseling Center announced they were changing the name and logo to The Montrose Center to better reflect the nonprofit’s current mission. The quote from Dr. Michael Kauth from the Montrose Center’s board of directors says it all: “We are counseling, yet we are so much more.” According to the executive director, Ann Robison, “Our vision has never wavered from the LGBT community and it never will. In short, we are here to empower the LGBT community.”
