OUT-OF-TOWN PRIDE
I was the winner of OutSmart’s 2010 Austin Pride sweepstakes. The prize included two nights at the Austin Radisson on Town Lake and VIP tickets to Austin Pride celebrations, including two tickets to see comedian Mario Cantone.
Austin Pride was an amazing festival, including events with theater, choir, pet parade, film screenings, a 5K run, and more, celebrating the diversity of Austin and the gay community that resides in an incredibly diverse and accepting city. The Austin Pride Parade on Saturday night drew a spectacular crowd to downtown Austin, including a sizable number to Austin’s always-exciting 4th Street.
Thank you, OutSmart, for letting me partake in a weekend I will never forget, a weekend that will become a yearly tradition for me, along with our own joyous Houston Pride.
