Exercise for PWAs
Thanks so much for mentioning our new program, Project Empower, being held at the GLBT Center [“Community Center Hosts Awareness, Art, and Exercise Events,” September 2010]. On our first night, we had six “students” and we learned many things related to wellness, diet, cardio, stress reduction, and core strengthening. So far, we have received donations of our logo and exercise bands and balls. So tell your friends: we welcome all people living with HIV, every Monday night at 7:30 p.m. Come be empowered!

Re: “‘Blondes’ Ambition” by Donalevan Maines, August 2010. In the early 1960s at Theatre, Inc. in Houston, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes starred the late Katherine Blissard as Dorothy and TV personality Warner Roberts as Lorelei.
