We start the month with a July 1 eclipse in Cancer/Capricorn that will affect money and personal values in general. And Uranus going retrograde on the 9th will have an impact on those born in Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, making them more antsy and in need of more space in their lives. The first half of the month will be the busiest, and a time of very little rest. People are still feeling the money crunch. • July 4 is a good day to celebrate, with everyone in a more social mood. Other good days this month are the 5th, 6th, 9th, 11th, and 27th. Days to stay in bed are the 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th, 13th, and 29th. • The planets are busy this month, contributing to the extra activity as they move along and change signs. The sun is in Cancer and finally enters her home sign on the 22nd. Mercury starts off in Leo and enters her home sign of Virgo on the 28th. Venus starts off in Gemini, but quickly moves into Cancer on the 3rd and finally into Leo on the 28th. The rest of the planets are happy where they are currently visiting. • The July 1 new moon and the July 15 full moon bring light to our emotional and financial security issues. Expect that to be a strong topic of discussion around those days.
ARIES (March 21–April 19). This month, the rams and ewes are putting their energy into their homes and families. Many of you are trying to break free of the restrictions that you have lived with for many years, and you are not willing to play the same old family role that you played in the past. Don’t burn any bridges that you may need to rebuild. It’s a great month for you to seek out a new career path, or to finally make the commitment to do what you’ve always wanted to do. This is a month of decision-making for you. Get plenty of rest and exercise—you will need it.
TAURUS (April 20–May 20). Since Jupiter, planet of optimism and expansion, enters your sign on the 4th, you’ll only be getting busier. You are able to communicate your needs more clearly this month. You are also in a more open place where you are more receptive to other ideas and points of view. As we get closer to mid-month, you become more goal oriented, especially when it comes to home and family matters. Watch your impulse spending!
GEMINI (May 21–June 21). With Mars, planet of action, remaining in your sign for the whole month, it’s an excellent time to initiate new plans or programs. You have extra courage and feel more comfortable taking risks—but you could also lose your temper more easily. Exercise and diets are always good when Mars is in your sign. You are getting your finances in order this month, feeling the pressure to remain conservative in your spending until the end of the month. Relationships are dynamic and somewhat volatile.
CANCER (June 22–July 22). Happy Birthday to all of my crab buddies. July marks our yearly cycle when we review our accomplishments and goals for the coming year. This is a very, very energized time for the moon kids. You are feeling the pressure from work demands, relationship reorganization, getting your home and family into shape, and trying to find time for yourself. The eclipse on the 1st could really set the stage for the rest of the month. This is a time of decision-making for you that continues for the next two months.
LEO (July 23–August 22). You are more into a rest and retreat time as July opens. Although you seem to be communicating more clearly than usual, you are not ready to face your public. Your career is opening up for you, and with the help of your friends or business associates you could make some advances this year. As we near the end of the month, you’ll be ready to step out and make a statement. You are also more decisive toward the end of the month.
VIRGO (August 23–September 22). Your career energies are highlighted this month. It’s a great time to start your own business or to seek a promotion. You are feeling dynamic and ready to deal with whatever comes your way. Make sure you spend time with groups or business organizations, since you can get a lot of help and support there. It’s a great month to mix business and pleasure. By the end of the month, you are ready to take some down time for rethinking. Relationships take precedence toward the end of the month.
LIBRA (September 23–October 23). You are certainly feeling the pressure from all directions this month. With the eclipse on the 1st, career and job prospects are up in the air. This month you are really looking at your boundaries, deciding what’s your responsibility and what’s not. Your partner may be more demanding than usual, and your temper is already on edge. Make sure you get some help from friends or groups you are connected to. They will ease your burden. Find some play time at the end of the month.
SCORPIO (October 24–November 21). Even with all of the planetary activity going on, Scorpio is not under as much pressure as the other signs. Your creative juices are really flowing this month, and you could get a lot accomplished without a lot of delays. It’s a great month for you to be up in front of others, sharing and talking about how you feel. Relationships are very positive right now. If you are single, you should be out there looking. Your magnetic qualities are strong this year. By the end of the month, you are back into your serious mode.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22–December 21). Relationships hold your interest this month. With Mars in your area of relationships, you may get a mixed bag of results. If all is well, then this is about renewing your partnership in a physical way. If you are single, this is a good time for you to be out looking. If there are problems, they will come to a head this month. You will have a shorter temper, and others will see you as impatient. It’s a good time to start an exercise program or confront aspects of your life that you have been avoiding.
CAPRICORN (December 22–January 19). With the July 1 eclipse in your relationship sector, issues may come to light that both of you have been avoiding. This applies to all close relationships, both personal and professional. Watch you interactions, especially with co-workers. There could be a lot of drama and office politics that you will want to avoid being drawn into. This is a decisive month for you, with issues coming to a head that you are ready to resolve. You are still in a time of downsizing, so get rid of what you truly don’t need.
AQUARIUS (January 20–February 18). For the most part, this is an easier month for you. With the planets being in the air signs, including Aquarius, the rest of the world will behave more like you—intellectual and slightly detached. You seem to have more clarity about how and where things fit into your life. This is a great month for cleanup and reorganization. Communications open up with partners and close friends in your life. And you are feeling more social; it’s about time!
PISCES (February 19–March 20). You are still focused on making your home a safe and more comfortable place, as you were last month. But you are in a more open and playful mood this month than you were in June. Having friends in for the 4th would be good for you, although any other weekend would also be fine. You are more motivated and energetic, and you could also be more outspoken at work. Relationships with co-workers take center stage near the end of the month. Watch your desire to rescue them from their drama. Most of them like that drama, so you would end up trying to help people who don’t need any help.
