Buckle your seatbelt!

This is going to be a very active and busy month for all of us. Look for this to be a month of confronting unresolved issues from the past and making decisions. People will tend to be a lot less tolerant of stupidity, and there may be more extremism this summer. This is an especially busy month for Aries, Cancers, Libras, and Capricorns. • Overall, this is the month to start new projects. We have until mid-August before we need to worry about retrogrades again. Most of us will have more energy than usual. • The lunar eclipse on June 26 may bring more revelations about abuses of power within our government. We may even see an announcement about problems with food safety. • Days to keep a low profile are the 3rd, 4th, 9th, 19th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th. Days to welcome the world with a big hug are the 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 14th, and 28th. • The Sun begins the month in Gemini and enters the sign of Cancer on June 21, the first day of summer. Mercury is back up to its quicksilver movement as it starts the month in Taurus before entering Gemini on the 10th and Cancer on the 25th. Venus begins the month drifting through the emotional luxury of Cancer, but then heats up when she enters Leo on the 14th. Mars finally moves out of Leo and into Virgo on the 7th. Jupiter and Uranus make a quick showing in Aries on the 6th. This will make us speed forward, so get ready for a bumpy ride.
ARIES (March 21–April 19). You are going to be busy with many new things and new ideas, especially with regard to your family relationships. You are breaking out of your old mode as you push against tradition and look for new expressions of family. And you are entering your career mode again, so you’ll be seriously looking at how you define what you do. Some of you will be thinking about retirement, while others will see this as a time of reinvention. Don’t hold back.
TAURUS (April 20–May 20). You are seriously interested in getting out of the rat race and looking for something that adds a sense of purpose to your work. It will be hard for you to follow routines if your heart isn’t into them. The lack of leadership has been bothering you at your current job. This could be the time to find a new employer or start your own business. Be sure to spend some time with your special someone—it will help you validate the choices you’ve made.
GEMINI (May 21–June 21). Happy Birthday to the Twins of the Zodiac. This is the time to review last year’s projects and perhaps bring them to closure. There will be several career opportunities this year, and many of you are getting promotions and raises. If you want to look elsewhere for work, this is a great time for that. Relationships with bosses, coworkers, and friends are especially good this month. Networking could bring new friends, and also a good possibility of meeting someone new to date.
CANCER (June 22–July 22). You start the month in a time of rest and retreat. Watch whom you surround yourself with this month. You are more sensitive than usual. In the background, you can feel the energy swells building. You are about to be very busy. Some of you will be launching a new career, going back to school, or traveling to foreign lands. You will not be making safe choices. For some of you, this could signal problems with family members. Keep an eye on that, especially near the end of the month. Don’t forget about your romantic relationships. You may be so busy that your partner feels neglected.
LEO (July 23–August 22). With Mars making his final stand in your sign, this is your best and strongest time to put new projects into play. After the 14th, romance enters the picture. This is a very good time for you to renew your commitment, or be out looking for someone to share your heart with. By mid-month, you are working to get a good handle on your finances. This can be a good time for investments if you are cautious and conservative. Relationship energies are improving. Don’t let boredom and neglect cause problems in the bedroom.
VIRGO (August 23–September 22). You are like a racehorse waiting for those gates to open—and they do open on June 7. You are more than ready to take some action and get on with things. You may have thought you stepped into a big vat of tar last month, but now you are ready to act. Watch that your impatience doesn’t draw more criticism than help. If you are single, this is a great time to be out meeting new people for long-term romantic entanglements. Career is good for you this month, and you will get to show your stuff.
LIBRA (September 23–October 23). Well, all I can say about this month is Wow! First, watch your boundaries and commitments. You may feel trapped, even if you love what you have committed to. Relationships can be quite dicey this month. Routines can be hell on existing relationships. Try to make some time for a getaway with your partner. Work will be busy, busy, busy—watch that you don’t make yourself overly tired. It will seem like everyone wants to be made your first priority, so make sure that you are at the top of your priority list.
SCORPIO (October 24–November 21). As we begin this month, your focus shifts from your career to more interactive involvement with friends and community organizations. You’ll feel pressured to take a leadership role. You will be especially charming this month as you channel some of your energy into play and fun. This could a great month for travel. If you have children, this is a time when they are doing especially well. Watch for new equipment to come into your workplace.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22–December 21). Relationships are on tap for you this month. First, the basics: if you are single, this is a very good time to put yourself out there. If you are partnered, this is the time to get out there for some fun. Sexual energies are very strong, and get stronger as the month progresses. If you don’t find an outlet for these energies, they could turn into combative energies aimed at people you really like. Bosses may feel threatened by your sense of power. Get them on your side so they don’t work against you.
CAPRICORN (December 22–January 19). We start the month off with the spotlight on your coworkers and your work conditions. There are lots of changes going on there. As the month progresses, the spotlight shifts to your relationships. If there are problems that have not been addressed, they will resurface in June. This is a great time for therapy since so many breakthroughs could occur. At the end of the month, you’ll want to get into high gear with your career. Get ready—this will be a two-year ride. You will be expected to step up and take a leadership role. Don’t spread yourself too thin.
AQUARIUS (January 20–February 18). Your brain is beginning to fill up with lots of new ideas. You are on the edge of a very stimulating time. Your day-to-day life could be a lot busier and a lot different than it is now. Your relationships will need some extra care during June, and your partners could be more needy than usual. They just need some reassurance. Keep your perspective, and keep your mood light. Don’t let yourself get caught up in the demands of those around you. New people will bring you new fun and games.
PISCES (February 19–March 20). Opportunity is knocking, so you had better answer the door. June has so many prospects that you may have a hard time deciding on just what you want to commit to. This whole year can be a time when you are reaching beyond. This can be a great time for entertaining in your home, or possibly moving. You job may even move, causing you to relocate. Relationship energies are hot this month. You are sending out signals and people are getting them. If your relationship is too routine, this could be the time to shake it up.
