In Galveston, the Balinese Room is the site for the 21 st annual Krewe of Banners Party on Feb. 9, 8 p.m.-midnight. “It’s the biggest, long-running Mardi Gras party on the Island,” says organizer Eldrege Langlinais (also owner of the Pink Dolphin club), adding that 2,700 people attended last year.
