On Saturday and Sunday, January 28th and 29th, 2012, Southern News Group and the International Trade Center, an international business and cultural center located in southwest Houston, will present the 16th Annual Texas Lunar Festival at Amity Park, 12509 Alief Clodine Road in southwest Houston.
The Texas Lunar Festival (www.texaslunarfestival.net) for many years has attracted large numbers of people from every ethnic group in Houston and for many years, the festival has offered a series of cultural display, international food and vendor booths, international entertainment, acrobats and lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, music and dancing by performers from around the world, carnival rides and games and door prizes for every age group. Guests and dignitaries this year will include political and civic leaders as well as several consul generals from Houston’s Consular Corp.
