DIED Tyler Dan Goolsby passed away July 4 in Washington, DC. Born April 2, 1982, in Thomasville, Georgia, to Robert Goolsby and Diann (Nixon) Goolsby. Goolsby was a lifelong resident of the Houston area, graduating from the University of Houston in 2004 and then from South Texas College of Law with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in 2009. He had traveled to Washington, DC, over the 4th of July weekend with the local dance troupe, the Lonestar Lariats, to participate in a dance competition when he unexpectedly died. Funeral services were held July 10 at Community Baptist Church in Crosby, Texas, with internment at Sterling-White Cemetery in Highlands, Texas.
