Nicki Minaj: Pink Friday
Chameleonic It Girl Nicki Minaj became the go-to guest star for rap’s sizzurp-sipping royalty. Though her debut album fizzes toward pure pop on the second half, the first, including a scorching duet between her alter ego Roman Zolanski and Eminem’s Slim Shady, is a rage-filled wonder guaranteed to piss off the gay PC crowd. Let ’em rant. This disc deserves raves. Universal Motown Records (universalmotown.com). —Review: Steven Foster
