Died. Sandy Clough. Sandra Adams Clough was born April 4, 1935, and passed away in Houston on October 14, 2011, surrounded by those who loved her. A member of AssistHers’ first volunteer training class in 1996, she served as a board member and long-time volunteer for that organization. She also served on the board of directors for Houston Black Tie Dinner, and was active with Uncommon Legacy.
Clough is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Clough of St. Paul, Minnesota, and her brother, Robert A. Clough Jr., of Los Angeles, California. Clough is also survived by her partner of 35 years, Stephanie McClain; her nephew, Robert A. Clough III of Houston, Texas; her niece, Dr. Lisa Clough Madrigal of Los Angeles, California; and a host of loving family members and friends.
