Michael Hatcher, 48, died in his sleep at his home on February 16. Born in Liberty, Texas, Michael had been employed as an account executive at OutSmart magazine since 2008, and had served as a member of the board of directors of Pride Houston since 2009. He is survived by his wife, Angela Hatcher, of Kingwood, Texas; daughters Jennifer Hatcher and Jill Hatcher, both of Houston; his parents, Bill Hatcher of Buffalo, Texas, and Pat Hatcher of Stockton, California; his brothers, Mitchell Hatcher of Dayton, Texas, and Mark Hatcher of Mexia, Texas; and his sister, Michelle Wagnor of Stockton, California. Michael is also survived by a host of family and friends. Funeral services were held February 20 at West End Baptist Church in Saratoga, Texas. A memorial service in Houston is planned for March 25.
