DIED. Richard G. Loy, age 56, died November 16 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, of complications of pneumonia following a fire at his home. Born in Midland, Michigan, on May 29, 1953, Loy moved to Houston in the 1970s and to Louisiana in 2008. He recently retired from EuroTan International. He is survived by his partner of seven years, Steven Jerome of Maringouin, Louisiana, and the extended Jerome Family. A memorial service was held in December at Hartzell United Methodist Church in Rosedale, Louisiana. The family asks those considering expressions of sympathy to please contribute to the charity of choice in Richard’s name to honor the memory of his spirit.
