These days of Twitter, IM, and immediate communications is pushing us from the reflective “why am I here” travel experience to the “hey, look where I’m at!” sort of trip. Good travel writing—the kind that makes being in your chair as wonderful as being on the road—is fast disappearing. Here you will find stories of internal exploration and discovery set against new places, new people, and new experiences. The writing is top–notch, the scenes interesting, and the reflection a two-way street. It’s enough to make me write a few postcards. —Review: Angel Curtis
