Male Uwear representatives have announced celebrity designer Andrew Christian is scheduled to visit the popular Montrose apparel retailer at its 415 Westheimer store on April 11, 7 p.m. In addition to complimentary cocktails, attendees also receive an “Undy” game ticket. Houston real estate giant, Martha Turner Properties, has acquired Karpas Properties, former Karpas real estate agent Danny Pleason told OutSmart . The deal will give Martha Turner Properties more exposure in southwest Houston, particularly the high-end market Meyerland and Bellaire, where Karpas had done much of its business. Martha Turner Properties closed more than $1 billion in 2007 properties sales; Karpas closed $200 million, according to the Houston Chronicle.
