A vampire civil war is brewing, Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) best friend is dead, and an old vampire foe Russell Edgington, the Vampire King of Mississippi (played by openly gay Denis O’Hare), has returned to wreak havoc on the human race. Gaiety abounds this season, with the help of out creator Alan Ball. Besides the queer character Lafayette (played by openly gay Nelsan Ellis), a few other characters get bitten with the same-sex vibe. Lots of DVD extras to sink your teeth into.
