Robin Williams proves he is more than just a comedian with his performance as T.S. Garp in the film adaptation of the classic John Irving novel. Garp is just trying to navigate through his complicated life. Glenn Close also stars as Jenny Fields, Garp’s mother, who writes a successful book and uses that money to open up a center in her home for abused women and transsexuals.
