Small Town Trouble: A Kim Claypoole Mystery

SmallTownAuthor: Jean Erhardt
Reviewed by Angel Curtis

Kim Claypoole decides to leave town to rescue her mother. Good thing Mama needs saving, because things are getting out of control with Kim’s married closet-case girlfriend. While sorting out Mama’s financial mess, Kim runs into an old girlfriend whose brother has been charged with murder. Kim works to rescue everyone, somehow making her serious “savior” character defect charming. Jean Erhardt’s scathingly funny and witty writing not only had me laughing from the first sentence, but made me stay up late to find out how it was all going to work out. Don’t miss this delightful romp of a mystery. Lethe Press (lethepressbooks.com).
