Fans Defend O’Donnell at Book Signing

WILMINGTON, Del. – Supporters of former Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell say she was right to walk out on Piers Morgan during a recent interview on CNN.

O’Donnell was at the Barnes & Noble at Concord Mall Saturday to sign copies of her new book, “Troublemaker.”

The conservative Republican, who lost last year’s Senate race to Chris Coons, wrote personal messages for about 80 people and signed 50 more copies for the store to sell, according to The News Journal of Wilmington.

O’Donnell walked out of Morgan’s studio on Wednesday after he asked questions about her views on gay marriage and whether she still thinks masturbation is wrong.

Don Criscuolo of Wilmington says Morgan wouldn’t have asked such questions of a male politician and that O’Donnell was right to walk out.
