Reading this “anthology of living fiction” is like attending a writing class and listening to short stories as diverse as the students who wrote them. Only this collection is international, enabled by the Internet, and readers are encouraged to e-mail their comments to the authors. Although all are meant to broaden one’s horizons, the most interesting piece to me involves a gay couple about to meet the parents of the one who’s dying. —Review: Donalevan Maines
