The Houston Public Library provides access to several Texas-sized genealogy databases. Just like the wild west of old, these resources can seem daunting and vast to navigate.

If you have been wranglin' with our online resources and a-hollerin' for help the wait is over! Join us for a new series with the Clayton Library: The Genealogy Research Roundup.

Genealogy Librarian Carl Smith dons his Cowboy boots and hat to become Cowboy Carl – your Texas-themed genealogy guru – to help you with a-navigating these databases. Each month we'll cover a different database and in no-time you'll be on your way to greener genealogy pastures.

This workshop covers the Houston Public Library's FamilySearch Affiliate Library database
