Artists host auction to support Houston flood victims

Artists are hosting a fundraiser to support the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Laura Rathe Fine Art, 2707 Colquitt in Houston, 77098.
Houston artists Katherine Houston and Cookie Ashton are joining forces with gallerists Laura Rathe of Laura Rathe Fine Art and Kathy Dimmitt of Dimmitt Contemporary Art to spearhead the fundraiser.
Works donated by artists will be exhibited in a live auction – and 100 percent of the proceeds go towards the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund established by Mayor Sylvester Turner and County Judge Ed Emmett.
