Florence’s lilting voice and embracing phrasing give no warning to her truly disarming performance; domestic violence groups will raise an eyebrow at “Kiss with a Fist.” This entire alt CD, especially the dark-yet-oddly-joyous “My Boy Builds Coffins” is alarming yet addictive.
