PERSPECTIVES Series II, June 11th: “3 + 4 + 3” Trios by Menotti and Smetana, and a quartet by Jennifer Higdon, featuring Xiao Wang, Kirsten Yon (violin), Philippe Muller (cello), Timothy Hester, Brian Suits (piano), Benjamin Kamins (bassoon), Michael Webster (clarinet). PERSPECTIVES Series III, June 18th: “Heavenly Resonance” TMF faculty performers and WindSync present a program featuring the heavenly sounds of Mozart’s E-flat Piano Quartet, a new work commemorating the Apollo 11 Moon landing mission, and Beethoven’s grand Septet. PERSPECTIVES Series IV, June 25th: “Grand Finale” Our closing PERSPECTIVES series concert features a TMF Faculty Brass Quintet, the festival premiere of Carl Schimmel’s percussion quartet, POPET (commissioned in honor of our 30th anniversary), performed by TMF Percussion Fellows, and Dvorak’s ever-popular Piano Quintet with Timothy Hester (piano), and festival string faculty.
