‘Changers Book Two: Oryon’ by T. Cooper and Allison Glock-Cooper

1 ChangersChangers Book Two, the second installment of a planned four-volume set, is a fun yet thought-provoking young-adult story. Oryon is a teenage “changer” in a world of “statics,” and assumes a different body for each year of high school. These changes occur to teach him empathy and compassion for an as-yet-unknown purpose. One problem is that he cannot have a romantic relationship with anyone he dated in a previous body. This is a dilemma, as he still loves the girl who loved him last year when he was a girl. Dealing with themes of difference, loyalty, resisting authority, and finding one’s true self, this book is a fun and easy read. Akashic Books (akashicbooks.com). Bradley Donalson
