Five Dances
A sensitive drama centering around the lives of young gay dancers in NYC, Five Dances is directed by Alan Brown (Private Romeo). The film showcases all-original choreography that features a cast of the city’s best young dancers. So basically, this is your stock coming-of-age story, with a gay dance spin. If “a newly arrived 18-year-old Kansas innocent who discovers love, friendship, and an awareness of his physical gifts” sounds like your cup o’ tea, check out Five Dances, available online July 8 and on DVD July 29, from Wolfe Video (wolfevideo.com). —TORI LAXALT
