You might not recognize the name Natalie West, but you probably remember Crystal Anderson-Conner, the character she played on television’s Roseanne for nine seasons. Here West updates the May/December theme brilliantly introduced to us by 1971’s Harold and Maude, but with a gay sensibility. West plays the aspiring stand-up comic Margaret, a 51-year-old Maude to Gaby Hoffman’s Nate, a gay 19-year-old Harold. Nathan Adloff directs. 2012.
