In this dystopian story set in Houston, 2022, the religious right in Texas has come to power and declared separation from the United States in the wake of mysterious terrorist attacks. The fascist theocracy controlling Texas militantly removes “deviants” from the population, including the LGBT community, non-evangelicals, free-thinkers, etc. Follow librarian Jen Frazier as she is thrust into alliance with the resistance. Issues one through five of After Twilight are available now, and the final issue is due out in September. Background information, production notes, video, and a real-events timeline are available on the publisher’s website. Nu-Classic Publishing (aftertwilightcomics.com). —Preview: Chip Babbin
