The indefatigable Ms Lauper lets us peek into her recent departure from pop music to delve into the grittier, get-down territory of the blues. Recorded live in (where else) Memphis, blues superstars Allen Touissant, Tracy Nelson, and Jonny Lang sit in with Cyn to give the disc even more cred, as if that were necessary.
