Four years, six artists, an audio producer, a writing teacher, seven actors providing voice recordings, 18 original written works, and 18 works of visual art all collaborated together to create (w)Hole, an audiovisual exhibition about grief, apology, and healing at The Jung Center. Visitors are encouraged to bring their phones, personal earbuds, or headphones to the gallery, scan a QR code located next to each work of art, and sink into a painting while the voice of a performer tells an original story to accompany each painting. The (w)Hole project began prior to the pandemic and has only become more relevant and immediate as a result of how many people around the globe have been touched by loss and the arduous task of healing in such a short span of time. Houston-based visual artists exhibited include: Laura Spector, JJ Baker, Pat McEnery, Ellen Orseck, Peggy Steup, and Terry Wheeler
