Houstonians interested in outdoor cycling and learning about the history of the Heights are invited to the 13th annual Houston Heights Association Bicycle Rally & Scavenger Hunt on Oct. 7, 2018. Starting and ending at Marmion Park, riders of all ages can select from a five-mile, 20-mile or new stroller and bike parade designed for families this year. A scavenger hunt to highlight the historical and notable landmarks throughout the ride will keep riders on their toes throughout the day. Prizes will be awarded during the after-party to riders who identify the most clues. Proceeds from the bike rally will benefit beautification, restoration, maintenance and education initiatives in the Houston Heights community.
