Spanning genres and mediums, Cécile McLorin Salvant’s artistic practice has few boundaries. In addition to her music, McLorin Salvant is known for her large-scale textile drawings. In April, at the invitation of DACAMERA and The Menil Collection, McLorin Salvant will be in residence at the museum, with a particular focus on the exhibition of work by abstract painter Joe Overstreet.
