Christopher Martin Gallery Female-Focused Rites of Spring Exhibit

On Thursday, May 19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., acclaimed painter and gallerist Christopher Martin will unveil the seasonal “Female-Focused Rites of Spring” exhibition at a special reception. On display through June 19, the show will celebrate the dynamic work of four, well-established female Modern artists – Isabelle van Zeijl, Melissa Herrington, Monica Perez and Ysabel LeMay – none of whom have previously been shown before in Houston. Opened in January 2022 by artist Christopher Martin, the eponymous gallery, which focuses on leading contemporary art by mid-career painters, sculptors and photographers, has additional outposts in Dallas, Aspen and Vail.
