*Note: This is a virtual event* Join us virtually to celebrate the 2021 Apprentices in the folk & traditional arts! Rooted in intensive instruction, apprenticeships are often a private matter between mentor and apprentice. This two-part virtual event provides a window into the collaboration of the 2021 Apprenticeship Program artist teams, as participants showcase the skills and techniques, lessons and experiences, stories and memories they gained while fostering their respective traditions. Both parts will stream live on Texas Folklife’s Facebook page at 6PM CDT on 8/17 and 8/24 respectively.
