It’s the good stuff. Women of Wine Charities’ annual fundraising event, Wine, Women & All That Jazz promises to serve wines rated at 90-points and above to its generous patrons.
“Our fundraiser is such a special event each year, and the one event we invite the men to attend. We are excited to be in yet another historic building, the Magnolia Ballroom, and to offer a terrific variety of wines for our guests to taste,” said Denise Ehrlich, president of the board of directors of WOW. “Last year’s event was particularly successful, helping us make our largest donation to date to Houston Area Women’s Center. Of course, our goal this year is to raise even more!”
The evening also features 1920s and 1930s jazz music, hors d’oeuvres, and live and silent auctions offering a catalog of distinctive wines, wine accessories, one-of-a-kind travel excursions, sports memorabilia, private dinners with wine pairings, and artworks created by local artisans as well as children who have benefitted from HAWC services. Additionally, all ticketholders receive a Riedel glass gift, compliments of event supporters, Riedel and Spec’s Liquor Warehouse.
