Jule Styne wrote music that was Broadway at its brassy best. The 50’s were perhaps his best decade as he wrote shows that were high points in the careers of Broadway’s beloved stars such as Carol Channing, Mary Martin, Judy Holliday, and Ethel Merman. Styne’s songs from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Peter Pan, Bells Are Ringing, and Gypsy have been loved for decades by singers as well as audiences. “Diamond’s Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” “Neverland,” “Just in Time,” “The Party’s Over,” “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” and “Together Wherever We Go” are just a few of the gems that you’ll hear in this cabaret.
