Based on the 1988 John Waters film of the same name, HAIRSPRAY is a Tony Award winning musical sensation that has danced its way into the hearts of theatergoers worldwide! The story whisks us to 1962 Baltimore and follows Tracy Turnblad, a plump teenager with dreams of stardom. When she lands a role on a local TV dance show, The Corny Collins Show, she skyrockets to overnight fame and uses her position to fight for integration and social change.
