Earth Day Houston at Discovery Green

Discovery Green’s citywide Earth Day celebration—sponsored by Green Mountain Energy and presented in partnership with the Citizens Environmental Coalition—is designed to educate, inspire and encourage action on Sunday, April 14. The event features displays, exhibits and booths on topics ranging from alternative energy to recycling methods, plus an Urban Harvest Farmers Market, an eco-fashion zone by Magpie and Peacocks, a special Unplugged concert, kids activities and more.
