4th Wall Theatre Company – Philip Lehl and Kim Tobin-Lehl, Artistic Directors, and Tim Richey, Managing Director – are excited to announce the date for our next Up Close Cocktails event. It will be a great opportunity to hang out with fellow theatre lovers and to meet some of the amazing theatre artists that are part of Houston’s marvelous theatre scene. There will be live Latin/Jazz music provided by Mark Towns. Beer from Saint Arnold and Wine and food plus dessert bites from Rose & Bear.

On October 26, 2018, we will again present our annual fundraising event, Up Close Cocktails. We are pleased to announce that this year’s hosts will be 4th Wall super-patrons, Ken Bohan and Dean O’Kelley. 4th Wall Theatre Company’s Mission is to develop and support theatrical artists by providing competitive pay. To develop and promote an aesthetic of acting that is truthful by producing exciting, cutting-edge, live theatre. In line with that mission we are gathering at Studio 101 with a Host Committee dedicated to this vision.

It’s still possible to play a part in our Host Committee. Current Host Committee members include Harriett Schubb and John Harris, Amy and Gary Chiles, Emily and Jake Speck and Lucila and Bill Haase. Opportunities are available now at the following support levels:

New this year will be a silent auction featuring beautiful and one-of-a-kind art pieces from our neighbors throughout the Sawyer Yard arts collective in addition to other special items and experiences. Some of the artists you might recognize who will be donating to the collection up for bidding are: Syd Moen, Page Piland, Gary Watson, Cheri Randolph, and Tod Bailey.

Individual tickets are just $50 and are available on our website. There are a limited number of tickets available so don’t wait to purchase until the last minute.
