Please join us on Sunday, October 8, 2017 as we welcome District 1 Houston City Council Member Robert Gallegos as our guest speaker. A lifelong resident of District 1 and dedicated to improving the entire Houston community, Robert was proud to campaign and be elected as an openly gay Latino. In celebration of National Coming Out Day, Councilman Gallegos will share his own “coming out” story. Our meeting will begin at 2:00 pm in the Jones Building at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 5501 Main St. Parking is available between Fannin and San Jacinto. Small groups, where members and visitors can confidentially share their individual journeys will immediately follow our program. We have a small group dedicated to families of transgender loved ones, as well as a group for Spanish speakers.
