Neuroscience and Visual Art: The Complex Relationship of Light, Color and the Brain

Rothko Chapel in partnership with the Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) presents an illustrated talk by Dr. Aziz Shaibani, “Neuroscience and Visual Art: The Complex Relationship of Light, Color and the Brain,” on May 16 at 6:30pm in the Burke Baker Planetarium at HMNS, 5555 Herman Park Drive, Houston, 77030. Shaibani, a neurologist associated with Baylor College of Medicine, will share the latest in brain science on how light impacts the way we see visual art.
