“In 2013, Jessica disappeared without a trace. Now, in the age of increasingly advanced AI, her boyfriend Allister attempts to recreate her likeness as an android, recruiting her friends from childhood and college to help. It’s not long before the rules of androids become complicated, however, as the friends argue for different shades of gray in a struggle of consent, morality, and who amongst them gets a say in how Jessica is remembered, and how she’ll be portrayed in the future.”
