Mayor Turner’s *Hire Houston Youth* program will kick off a series of six “on the spot” hiring events on April 14 to provide summer jobs and internship opportunities to local youth ages 16-24. The McDonald’s Owner/Operators Association of Greater Houston (MOAGH) has partnered with Mayor Turner each of the last three years to create and present these events throughout the city and is working to rally local companies—including fierce competitors like Jack in the Box—to come together for the common goal of providing 7,500 jobs to local youth. These events are open to the public and do not require applicants to pre-register or be pre-screened.
