Join us for a special movie event on the green as we watch “Hidden Figures,” presented by H-E-B in conjunction with the Houston Independent School District and Wanda Adams, HISD Trustee.

The film will begin at 8 pm, but you are invited to come early to enjoy games and activities starting at 6:30 pm.

“Hidden Figures” tells the incredible true story of a team of three African-American women who served as instrumental mathematicians during the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. The film has received several awards and nominations, and garnered largely positive reviews.

PLEASE NOTE:
You are welcome to bring blankets and chairs to view from the hill. Food, beer and wine are available for purchase at the Lake House. No glass containers or outside alcoholic beverages, please. This event is part of the XFINITY Entertainment Series.
