DePelchin Children’s Center and 2020 Families for Kids Luncheon Co-Chairs Santos & Richard Hinojosa and Laura & Jason Rocha are proud to honor Hannah & Cal McNair on Thursday, April 23 at River Oaks Country Club.

It has been said that strong families are the building blocks of strong communities. For more than 127 years, DePelchin Children’s Center has been hard at work across the state of Texas keeping families together and finding loving homes for children in need.

At the Luncheon, DePelchin will honor a couple who have substantially impacted Houston children for the better, Hannah and Cal McNair. Over their many years of generously investing in the children of their community, the McNairs have become an invaluable partner in DePelchin’s mission. In the words of Jenifer Jarriel, President & CEO of DePelchin, “Their passion for ensuring that every child has the opportunity to be safe and healthy is evident to anyone who knows them.”

This year, our keynote speaker will be a former at-risk foster kid turned youth advocate, Josh Shipp. Statistically, Josh should be dead, in jail, or homeless. But his success as a preeminent author, speaker, and global youth empowerment expert is living proof of the power of one caring adult.
