Shout OUT Loud for Lesbian Health Initiative!

Co-Chairs Brooks Ballard, Joe Fuentes, and Joseph Moore invite you to join us for EPAH’s annual fundraiser, “Shout OUT Loud”, on September 16, 2017. Through its “Shout OUT Loud” event each year, the Executive and Professional Association of Houston (EPAH) selects a nonprofit to support that serves the LGBT community. This year, 100% of funds raised will go directly to support the vital programs of the Lesbian Health Initiative (LHI) (http://www.lhihouston.org/).

Come OUT to celebrate LHI’s 25th year as a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating barriers to healthcare and promoting health and wellness for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT)-identified women and transgender men through collaborative and integrated education, access, and advocacy programs. These programs have been a driving force in the fight for equality in health services. And now, with women’s healthcare under constant threat, these services are more important than ever.

LHI has recently become a premier program under the Montrose Center umbrella and is in the midst of some exciting new changes designed to better reach the communities they serve while making its programs more sustainable.

The main event will be held at Bradshaw-Carter at 8:00 PM on September 16, with a VIP reception across the street at the home of Bruce Smith beginning at 7:00 PM. The main event will include entertainment — featuring the Bayou City Women’s Chorus — and a silent auction. Complimentary valet service will be provided.
