METdance is inviting the community to experience the power of dance to transcend boundaries and divisions with “Breaking Borders,” the newest installment in the unique organization’s 21st season.

Three performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17 through Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Midtown Arts and Theater Complex (MATCH), located at 3400 Main St.

“Breaking Borders” will features an impressive assemblage of diverse choreographing talent, including work by Camille A. Brown, Joshua L. Peugh, Katarzyna Skarpetowska and a world premiere by Princess Grace Award winner Rosie Herrera.

“Breaking Borders” celebrates the theme of the current season, “United in Dance,” which focuses on the diversity of the METdance organization, as the nonprofit continues its work inspiring and educating audiences through its unique blend of contemporary concert dance performances and community outreach.
