As Far As The Eye Can See
Friday, October 2, 2015 @ 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
When describing the vast and varied landscape of Texas, it’s nearly impossible to find one theme that encompasses the entire state. From the rolling hills of Central Texas to the scorching desert of West Texas, with urban settings dotting the in-between, these landscapes define us as a state. From October 2 – November 23, 2015, a collection of paintings depicting 100 years of Texas landscape, will be on display at Two Allen Center in Downtown Houston. The exhibition, titled As Far As The Eye Can See, is curated by Sally Reynolds and presented by Arts Brookfield, a global initiative of leading commercial property company Brookfield, which invigorates the workplaces and public spaces of its premier buildings through the presentation of free arts and cultural experiences. An opening reception, graciously underwritten by Frost Bank, will be held on October 21 from 5-7 p.m.
