AIDS Foundation Houston presents “Rock the Walk”

AIDS Foundation Houston, Inc. (AFH) announces the lineup for the “Rock the Walk” concert following the 29th annual AIDS Walk Houston on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Houston musicians Bun B, Paul Wall* *and Los Skarnales, along with DJ Gracie Chavez, will perform at the finish line party, which takes place at Sam Houston Park in Downtown Houston. Derrick Shore, co-host of KPRC-2’s Houston Life, and K.G. Smooth, host of The Quiet Storm on Majic 102.1 and Access Houston on 97.9 The Box, will emcee.
The free concert will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. VIP wristbands for the concert will be available to 1,500 Houstonians who take a free HIV test at one of six testing locations around Houston before the Walk. Testing locations, dates and times are available online at AIDSWalkHouston.org.
AIDS Walk Houston is the city’s single greatest response in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Funds raised help local HIV/AIDS service organizations provide programs and services to almost 30,000 Houstonians impacted by the virus.
